BINDING Service

Not a fan of binding your finished quilts? 

I provide professional binding services on my quilting machine. All bindings are sewn on by machine, from start to finish. 

Binding Service Options:

  1. Binding made by the client; I will machine sew to the front of the quilt (client can hand sew to the back of the quilt) ($0.08 per linear inch)
  2. Binding fabric provided; I will make the binding and machine sew the binding to the front of the quilt only ($0.12 per linear inch)
  3. Binding made by the client; I will  machine sew the binding to the front AND the back of the quilt ($0.16 per linear inch)
  4. Binding fabric provided; I will make the binding‚ machine sew the binding to the front AND the back of the quilt ($0.20 per linear inch)

Quilting Preparation Notes: 

  • The Binding provided must be 2.5” or 3” strips OR enough fabric provided for me to make the necessary amount of 2.5” or 3” binding strips
  • If I am not already quilting and squaring it up: 
    • Please ensure that your quilt is square
    • Trim any loose threads around the edge of the quilt
  • Additional charges may apply if extra work is required at $25 per hour.
  • $25 + tax minimum is required for all quilts to be bound
  • How to calculate linear inches: (width x 2) + (length x 2)

To secure your BINDING service, fill out the Intake Form below and click 'submit'. I will email you to finalize your quilt details. Once your quilt is complete, I will send photos, an invoice and the address to e-transfer (cash is accepted as well).
